Fractal Systems Inc. (FSI) was conducting cutting edge research and development (R&D) on conductive polymers and nanomaterials for electronic applications between 1997 and 2015. The majority of FSI projects were funded through SBIR (Small Business innovative Research) Program. During the seventeen years of existence FSI has been focusing on various applications of conducting polymers, such as nanocomposites, shielding, radar-absorbing materials, batteries, capacitors and electrochemical sensors. To focus on biosensor development, FSI spinned-off SPRC (Smart Polymers Research Corp.) in 2004. FSI research is featured in multiple peer-reviewed publications and patents on conducting polymer applications.
